Richard Cline

Richard Cline is a Founder and President of Voce Communications and has been the company's acting president since its inception in 1999. Rich has guided the Voce Influencer Marketing vision believing that distributed markets are now forcing companies to zero in on the key influencers who help drive consumer buying decisions.

Rich applies his extensive experience in journalism and communications consulting to help extend client brands and enhance the vision of Voce Communications. He has spent the past two decades helping drive global communications, investor relations, public relations and new media programs for companies ranging the scope of business-to-business and consumer technology.

Prior to Voce, Rich spent several years with Weber Shandwick, leading global public relations programs for Fortune 500 corporations. During his tenure at Shandwick, Rich managed public relations and investor relations and communications programs for a variety of companies in various technology sectors. Previously, he also worked at Neale-May & Partners, helping manage consumer technology programs.

In a former life, Rich was a beat reporter for several San Francisco Bay Area dailies covering local government and city beats.

Rich is frequently quoted in industry publications for his perspective on the industry and has attended or moderated panel sessions on communications consulting across the country.

In the Fall of 2006, Rich was appointed to the Menlo Park City Council to serve a four-year term. Rich has most recently been actively involved in social change and urban youth, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for a leading non-profit organization, Girls For A Change.
